Marimbetudes is a collection of three marimba solos, each one working on a particular technique. The first focuses on right handed multi-lateral octaves with a syncopated left hand, the second works on arpeggiated, harp-like scales and chords, and the third demands left hand and right hand ostinatos that overlap.
