These snares are meant as a replacement for the Blue/Gold cable unit on a SoundArt drum, but it can certainly be fitted to any drum on the market! The combination of thick gold and thin blue coated wires work well at medium-to-loud playing levels, giving the drum that traditional dry, warm tone that used to be found with gut strings.
