13 Morceaux includes three selections from Jean Sibelius' original collection of solo piano pieces. This first selection included is Etude and features a boom-chick sort of accompaniment in the left hand while the right hand plays the arpeggiated sixteenth note melody line.
Carillon, the second selection, also focuses on arpeggios but they are split up and played between both hands. The last selection, Humoresque, moves quickly especially in the right hand so make sure your chops are ready to go before you take this one on!
These selections are great for students looking to play a wide range of styles.
