Meinl's 10" Byzance Extra Dry Splash Cymbal is incredibly musical, starting off with a bright initial attack that instantly turns into a low-pitched breathy ring that lasts just long enough. There's none of the 'hum' that can be heard in brighter, more traditional splash cymbals.
Not to mention that the raw finish just looks really cool.
