The Meinl 16" Byzance Extra Dry China Cymbal has a darker and dirtier sound than most chinas out there. The very edge has been lathed to boost the attack speed. This cymbal is a fine choice for music that is on the moodier, earthier side but still needs that aggressive china cymbal sound.
The 16" model has a higher fundamental pitch and slightly quicker decay than the larger 18" model.
