Meinl's 20" Byzance Tradition Ride Cymbal has a very unique look and a particularly steep bow that give it a warm, full wash and energetic tone that fits nicely into jazz, bebop, gospel, and pretty much anything that happens in a studio.
It's got a pretty low pitch and a short sustain that lest you clearly hear each ride pattern, but the tone is warm enough so that it always sounds woody, never too bright.
This 20" model is a little brighter and higher in pitch than the 22" model.
