The Meinl BassBox gives you boomy low beats without needing to carry around a bass drum - an excellent option for percussionists, guitarists, and singer/songwriters. Taking up as much room as a modern gaming console, this instrument is compact and intriguing.
To play the BassBox you'll need any common bass drum pedal (not included). A special L-shaped beater and an aluminum rail to attach the pedal to the instrument are both included.
This instrument, made of sturdy Baltic birch, is playable either sitting or standing. A sound port in the front projects those beefy bass tones toward the audience.
