The Original dampener covers the entire head for maximum effect, while the 6" cutout in the center of the Donut dampener gives you the feel of the actual head when you play.
Made of a patent-pending rubber/plastic compound, these dampeners feature thumb cutouts for easy removal and rubber gaskets around the outer edge to ensure consistent weight and pressure.
