Built with 100% maple shells, the warm sound produced by these drums will fill a room and make any beat heard and felt! A warm tone is accompanied by a crisp attack thanks to the thin shells, meaning this kit projects. Tama wanted to really highlight the resonance of the 100% maple shells so they made sure the hardware did nothing but support that. The low mass lugs and Star-Mount System make sure that the toms are never choked off and provide the full resonance they're capable of.
Another draw of the new Exotix series are its unique finishes. While the shells are 100% maple, they also feature an outer layer of pine that provides a beautiful wood grain finish with two lacquer finishes that are sure to grab the audience's eyes. The finish with the matching wood bass drum hoops and the classic Tama "T" logo that has become iconic to the brand makes this kit an eye catcher.
