The Remo Apex Djembe is made for recreational drummers who value modern manufacturing techniques over tradition. The shell is made of lightweight, durable ABS plastic that doesn't care about the weather, and a Skyndeep graphic head that gets all of the lows and highs you need.
The head is held in place with a steel-plated radius counter hoop and inverted, recessed hooks that stay well out of the way of your hands. You can tune it up with any standard drum key.
The Red Kinte design is reminiscent of Africa, the birthplace of the djembe.
