The Dream 22" Dark Matter Energy Ride Cymbal contains a surprisingly thick amount of overtones, particularly in the mid to low range. Even with the complex tone created by this cymbal, the stick attack is crystal clear. The lathed bell is also cutting, without being too aggressive.
Dark Matter cymbals have gone through the finishing process, and then are subjected to the fire many more times, hand-hammered, and quenched in a cold water bath. The fusion of carbon with the top layer of bronze gives these cymbals a unique visual and sonic touch.
