The DW 6.5" x 14" All-Access Earth, Wind, and Fire Icon Snare Drum is a powerful, heavy-duty maple snare drum designed to honor the long line of drummers in the group. This drum is made of 11 plies of North American Hard Rock Maple, constructed with DW's proprietary VLT (Vertical Low Timbre) orientation, making for a rock-solid, punchy snare drum all around.
This drum features a laser-cut exotic wood inlay of the Earth, Wind, and Fire logo. All of the Collector's series features are present here: True-Hoop counterhoops for an open projection, True-Pitch tuning rods with a tight threading so your drum stays in tune, True-Tone snare wires for unprecedented response, and a MAG throw off with a 3-position butt plate for total versatility.
