This DW 5" x 14" Collector's Series Snare drum is made from 10 plies of North American Maple, fitted with 6-ply reinforcement hoops and 60-degree bearing edges. Its naturally EQ'd balance pairs excellently with its wide tuning range due to its depth.
The interior has been lacquered to add a bit of brightness to the sound, helping you cut through virtually anything with sharp backbeats.
This drum has a unique Brown Ash Pomelle finish, which accentuates the natural coloring of the wood, and it contrasts beautifully with the black nickel plating on the metal hardware.
This snare comes with DW's distinctive turret lugs, TrueHoop triple-flanged hoops, a Mag throw-off, 3P butt plate, True-Pitch tuning rods, and specially-marked DW/Remo heads.
