The three-brace basket on this snare stand looks decidedly old-school, but these arms actually lock into place - no more flopping around as you attempt to get the drum inside!
There's no tightening adjustment knob under the basket - instead, you push out the spring-loaded basket arm, insert the drum, and release the arm which will retract and firmly grip your drum. Air-cushioned rubber ends allow your drum to float for max resonance.
