The DW 9000 Series Airlift Tom/Snare Drum Stand is a heavy duty stand for a variety of drum sizes. Able to fit drums from 10" to 16", this stand cradles drums on a cushion of air as opposed to sitting down further into the cradle.
This difference in design won't restrict any resonance from the drum, with the added benefit of making adjustments while the drum is on the stand a much easier ordeal.
