The DW 9000 Series Low Boom Cymbal Stand is one solid piece of equipment. This special low version is made for drummers who know they only need it to be moderately tall (for ride cymbals, mostly), and it takes up less room in a crowded hardware bag - plus it's a little lighter.
The toothless tilter on the top of this stand lets you adjust your cymbal to virtually any angle - you don't have to line up with any teeth. The tilter is equipped with a secondary TechLock that puts an extra iron grip on the tilter (with a drum key) so it won't slip no matter what.
The cymbal seat itself is also adjustable, letting you decide how much swing you want to give your cymbal. Heavy-gauge tubing and strong double-braced legs are able to handle the heaviest cymbals and the roughest road conditions.
