Evans G2 Coated Drum Heads feature greater durability and projection power than G1 Coated Heads, thanks to their two-ply design. Each ply is 7 mils thick - so 14 mils total - that grant you very balanced depth, sustain, and attack.
The coating on these heads add warmth and focus, at the expense of a bit of resonance and attack clarity.
