Meinl 7" & 8.5" Fibercraft Bongos feature premium fiberglass shells that are more durable and weather resistant than any wood. They produce sharp, cracking highs and loud mid range tones, making them a fantastic choice for drummers who are on the road or out in the elements often.
These drums utilize the Meinl Free Ride Suspension System, replacing the traditional wooden connector block with a device that does not touch the shells, letting them breathe freely to resonate as much as possible.
Real cow heads ring with authentic sounds, tuned up by strong 8mm tension hooks and 3mm rounded SSR-rims that are much easier on the hands than traditional rims. All of the hardware is chrome plated to look snazzy.
These bongos include an L-shaped tuning key, tuning oil to keep the tension hooks nice and turnable, and an accessory pouch to hold small items.
