Meinl Free Ride Bongos feature a connector between the macho (small) and hembra (large) heads that allows the shells to ring freely, as opposed to traditional block connectors which are screwed directly into the shells.
The FWB400 Bongos are Meinl's premier series, including lots of high-end features: the Free Ride Suspension System, chrome-plated hardware, hand-saving SSR rims (3mm), and hand-selected cow skin heads. Included as well: an accessory pouch, tune-up oil, and an L-shaped tuning key.
