The Meinl Headliner Series Congas are full-sized, entry-level instruments for the beginning percussionist or the conguero on a budget. Rubber wood shells and hand-picked buffalo skin heads give these drums their characteristic Cuban sound, and Meinl has sweetened the pot with some hardware and extras. Specially-designed Meinl tuning brackets are included, as well has hand-saving rounded rims (2mm) and black powder-coated hardware. As a bonus, a height-adjustable basket stand is included with each drum that can be broken down quickly and easily.
The Designer Series Congas are offered individually in three different sizes: the 10" Nino (extra-high), the 11" Quinto (high), and the 12" Conga (mid-range). When put together, these drums fill a wide range spectrum that can fill quite a large venue.
