Meinl Harmonic Art Handpans are entirely hand-made, one at a time, from a durable, top-grade German steel. Designed to play with different parts of the hand, primarily the fingertips and the heel of the hand, these instruments produce a gentle, soothing, resonant tone that is unique and offers a variety of musical applications.
This instrument comes with one center, fundamental note and seven additional notes laid out in a semi-scalar pattern to allow for the player to either improvise or perform within a certain pitch set, either as a soloist or in an ensemble setting.
The steel is workable but durable, meaning these instruments are built to last and won't easily get knocked out of tune. They come with a protective cover and bag.
