Meinl 8" x 15.75" Headliner Rope Djembe Black River

Crafted similarly to the traditional method used in Mali, the Meinl Black River Series Rope Tuned Djembe is constructed from a hollowed, solid piece of Mahogany. This solid shell is carved by hand, the head is made from hand-stretched goat skin, and the pre-stretched nylon ropes are weaved in a very traditional fashion for a beautiful, authentic sound.
