Meinl 18" Napa Head

Meinl Napa Heads feature a two-layer construction with a strong, thin mylar underlayer and a soft Napa surface, both securely bound together in a metal hoop. The thick Napa surface layer dampens and softens attacks, while eliminating unwanted high-pitched frequencies. Putting Napa heads on a surdo line will create a surging, swelling kind of sound within the ensemble.
