The Innovative Percussion Jim Casella Series IP1001 Soft Yarn marimba mallets are designed to give you concert hall sounds out on the marching field. The IP1001 features latex covered rubber cores wrapped in soft yarn for a great combination of articulation and warm tone.
The IP1001s also feature polished birch shafts that are durable, yet lightweight-handling the rigors of marching band and the sensitivity of solo performance. They are the softest mallets in the Jim Casella Marimba Series, designed for the lower registers of the marimba.
