The Innovative Percussion Jim Casella Series IP1003X Hard-Heavy Yarn marimba mallets are designed for marching application, but with the concert hall in mind. The IP1003X features heavy rubber cores with a hard yarn wrapping to create bright projection and lots of articulation.
The IP1003X is similar to the IP1003, but has added weight in the core which will produce a little more sound from the instrument.
