These medium hard, yet full-sounding, yarn mallets feature large rubber cores that not only provide for adequate volume in low and middle registers, but also bring out definition in the upper ranges of the instrument.
Slightly larger diameter polished birch handles provide excellent balance and durability. The synthetic wool-blend yarn used to wrap the IP3003's makes this mallet tough enough to withstand the demands of today's marching front ensembles.
