The Ludwig Albert series IP3101B extra soft yarn marimba mallets are crafted from superior materials with specifications from Belgium marimba artist Ludwig Albert III making them not only structurally sound, but sonically superb. The IP3101B feature natural birch handles, cut to a length that offers the best balance for any playing situation. The specially weighted rubber core is extra soft in the IP3101B and it's shape is ideally suited for bass marimba parts. Wool-blend yarn is used in these mallets for durability and exceptional tone. The IP3101B is the softest mallet in the series. These mallets are identical to the IP3101, but with birch handles.
