Innovative Percussion IP3107B Ludwig Albert Hard Marimba Birch

The Ludwig Albert series IP3107B hard yarn marimba mallets are crafted from superior materials with specifications from Belgium marimba artist Ludwig Albert III making them not only structurally sound, but sonically superb. The IP3107B feature natural birch handles, cut to a length that offers the best balance for any playing situation. The specially weighted rubber core is hard in the IP3107B and it's shape is ideally suited for full and defined sound in nearly any octave of the marimba. Wool-blend yarn is used in these mallets for durability and exceptional tone. Because of the number of mallets in this series, the firmness of the IP3107B is increased only slightly over the IP3106B mallets. These mallets are identical to the IP3107, but with birch handles.
