The Ludwig Albert series IP3108B extra hard yarn marimba mallets are crafted from superior materials with specifications from Belgium marimba artist Ludwig Albert III making them not only structurally sound, but sonically superb. The IP3108B feature natural birch handles, cut to a length that offers the best balance for any playing situation. The specially weighted rubber core is extra hard in the IP3108B and it's shape is ideally suited for upper-register marimba parts and generate full and defined sound in nearly any octave of the marimba. Wool-blend yarn is used in these mallets for durability and exceptional tone. The IP3108B is the hardest mallet in the series. These mallets are identical to the IP3108, but with birch handles.
