The Mark Ford Strong Legato series IP814 hard yarn marimba mallet features a large rubber core to produce a rich, full fundamental across the range of the instrument, while an extra-soft yarn wrapping allows for legato playing across the whole marimba.
The IP814 has a harder rubber core for additional articulation at the upper registers. The IP814 features unfinished birch handles for additional texture and grip.
