The FAB kit is named after the band that really put Ludwig on the map. The Fab Four? The Beatles! Made popular by Ringo Starr in the iconic Vintage Black Oyster finish (Though not called "Vintage" back then) this kit is a great Rock n' Roll setup.

Quite an awesome feat for a drum set of this quality.
Classic Maple shells feature a center 3-ply core panel, laminated in a horizontal/vertical/horizontal grain orientation, sandwiched between 2-ply inner and outer panels. This, combined with the Radio Frequency Shell Technology (RFST) molding process, creates strong and resonant instruments.
