The Ludwig 8" x 14" Copper Phonic Snare Drum is similar in design to the original Supraphonics, but the 1.2mm copper shell provides more warmth and resonant metal sound.
A remarkable 8" depth gives this drum the ability to tune low and maintain a powerful sound with a large column of air. No matter what your tuning, it will pack quite a punch.
This drum comes with Imperial lugs, 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops, a P85 throw-off, and a P33 strainer butt end.
The copper contains some natural patina and has been lightly lacquered, giving you that vintage appeal right out of the box.
