The LP799-DW Rope Tuned Siam Oak Djembe takes design elements from traditional African djembes while still keeping the modern player in mind.
The Siam Oak shell lends itself to incredible projection of it's crisp high slaps to the rich bass tones and everything in between. This drum brings an authentic feel to the table with its use of LP's Ever-Tune rope tuning system.
Great for a variety of musical situations, this djembe can be played while seated, standing with a strap, or on a stand. A rubber-lined bottom protects the shell when setting it on the ground.
The LP799-DW has a playing surface of 12.5" in diameter and stands 25" tall with the Dark Wood finish. It also dons a natural goat skin head for an authentic feel.
