Salyers Percussion Marching Arts Collection Marching Bass Drum Mallets are made from select hickory shafts designed with a flare in the butt end that feels good in players' hands and shifts the weight back; they're not completely front-heavy.
The very small hard felt heads on these mallets create a full, articulate sound on bass drums from 14" - 18" in diameter.
