Made right here in America, the Music City Custom Solid Shell drums are crafted with time-honored precision and refinement. Each shell is painstakingly crafted using North American lumber that has been steam treated and hand-formed.
CNC drilling is used to ensure extremely precise hole placement on each shell before a hand finish is applied. The team at the Pearl Custom Shop then finishes final assembly of the build.
Adding yet another level of refinement, each shell is available with a hand-rubbed oil finish and your choice of standard Nashville Natural or with one of the Exotic Inlay options.
This particular model, the MCCA1465S/C1003, is a 14" x 6.5" Solid Ash snare drum with the DuoBand Ebony Marine Center Inlay. The Ash wood used for this shell gives the drum a brighter and louder sound with extended sustain.
