This snare collar is the metal ring that sits underneath the top hoop of a Dynasty Custom Elite Marching Snare Drum. The tension rods go through the top and enter tube lugs underneath.
This collar allows the head to be tightened without needing any hardware to actually touch the upper portion of the drum shell.
