Meinl's Pure Alloy Cymbals are a departure from their normal envelope-pushing MO, made with traditional lathing and crafting techniques to be more "standard" like the most popular cymbals of the past few decades. They're made from a completely different bronze alloy than their other cymbals.
This 18" crash is bright and shimmery with a very clean mix of frequencies. It's got a medium long sustain and a high pitch, and it's a fantastic go-to rock crash cymbal.
