The Meinl Pickup Bassbox gives you boomy low beats without needing to carry around a bass drum - an excellent option for percussionists, guitarists, and singer/songwriters. While the built-in Piezo pickup system lets you easily amplify the sound out with your other instruments.
To play the Bassbox you will need a standard bass drum pedal (sold separately). The included L-shaped Bassbox beater and an aluminum rail attaches the pedal to the instrument and you are ready to go!
This instrument is made of sturdy Baltic Birch and can be played while standing or sitting. The front oriented sound port projects the big bass tones out towards the audience so it sounds great whether or not is plugged into a sound system.
