- Grooved Hoop- 1.6mm thick hoops with no holes for tension rods, the Grooved Hoop is designed to provide maximum strength and durability when paired with the Freedom Lugs and Hooks.
- Freedom Lug and Hook- This simple mechanism allows the hoops to be removed from the drum without taking the tension rods out of the lugs.
- Linear Drive Strainer- designed to be completely silent, even when rapidly turning the snares on or off
- Detachable Butt Plate- allows the entire butt plate to be easily removed, keeping the snares at their original tension when changing the snare head
- Ratchet Snare Tension Adjuster- this tension adjuster works like a ratchet, allowing you to adjust and hold tension on the snares 0.125mm at a time
A slightly thicker 1.2mm brass shell and new Grooved Hoop gives this drum rich, warm resonance and sharp projection. This drum has an exceptionally wide frequency and tuning range, allowing for great sonic variety simply by adjusting the tuning and snappy snares.
