The Meinl Pickup Snarebox is essentially a snare drum you play with your foot! It's an excellent substitute for percussionists who are busy playing other hand instruments and can't pick up sticks to play a snare drum or for other instrumentalists like guitarists and singer/songwriters looking to add a subtle groove to their music.
The built-in piezo pickup system lets you easily plug in the Snarebox and project it with your other instruments. The high-quality output jack guarantees crystal clear sound quality.
To play it you will need a bass drum pedal (sold separately) fitted with the included Meinl Snarebox Beater. Then just plug in to your mixer and interface and play!
This instrument is made of sturdy Baltic Birch is easily playable whether you are sitting or standing. The front oriented sound port projects the extra crisp snares out towards your audience.
