The Meinl Woodcraft Professional Pickup Cajon has a Baltic Birch body with Makah-Burl frontplate and three Piezo pickups that allow you to amplify this cajon through any sound system. This beautiful construction allows players to play with more force and get a fierce attack and a warm tone.
There are three built-in Piezo pickups. Two pickups are designated for the snare sounds and one for the bass tones. The added tone and volume knob allow you to easily find the perfect mix without having to walk over to a mixer.
The internal snares of this cajon are made from specially wound metal strings that run the entire length of the front plate for extra sensitive snare response that can pick up tiny finger rolls to sharp accents and everything in between.
The corners of the Makah-Burl frontplate are ergonomically rounded so it is more comfortable to play and the sharp edges won't between to hurt the player's hands.
