Tama StarLight Marching Drums are easy to carry around the marching field or down the parade route. They tune easily and are very low-maintenance compared to much heavier corps-style equipment. If your drummers are very young or want to save their backs, StarLights are great.
The 8-10-12" StarLight Marching Tenors are made out of 100% birch shells (8 plies/8mm thick) with 1.5mm steel triple-flanged hoops. Lightweight aluminum die-cast lugs help keep the weight down.
Safety Lock Mounts replace old J-bar technology, allowing your drum to connect to the included StarLight Snare Drum Carrier in a way that securely locks the two together. No rattles, and no jiggling even when doing advanced movement.
