The Bass Xylophone features a 1 1/3 octave diatonic scale (C-A) with a special spot for F# and Bb notes which can be interchanged if you want them to play a different scale.
Fiberglass bars are incredibly durable and will stay in tune even under the most heavy handed students. The wooden resonator box serves as a shorts stand as well as projecting the sound of the bars.
