The RS50 Hard Marimba / Vibraphone mallets are constructed on durable rattan handles with large oval cores and are tightly wrapped with synthetic yarn. These mallets will work well on the top register of a marimba, or for a very bright, shimmery sound on a vibraphone.
The cord on this mallet will help make the sound begin more clearly and deliberately, with slightly more brightness and less warmth.
