The Meinl Snarecraft Professional Cajon is designed with performer capabilities as the top priority. The 9-ply Baltic birch body gives this cajon an open, warm tone while the Walnut front plate allows for a focused sound, and very wide dynamic range. So the cajon can be as versatile as the performer.
The full, bass tones are balanced beautifully with extra crisp snares that can be adjusted by the built-in knob, installed about halfway down the cajon's body so it can be easily reached while playing. This is especially useful for performers that use their cajon for a variety of musical styles and don't want a cajon to fit every genre.
The top corners of the frontplate are ergonomically rounded for added comfort and playability.
