Innovative Percussion Thomas Burritt Series Marimba Mallets are designed to let you control subtle timbres during a performance, with a minimum of attack sound (even with the harder models).
These mallets are created by attaching a synthetic core to a ramin handle (with a classy walnut stain), loosely wrapped with a very soft yarn.
The TB2 Medium Soft mallets offer just a little bit of articulation to help clarify rhythms, but they sound rich and full across the entire range. They're absolutely fantastic when playing Bach's Cello Suites.
