Meinl 6" Floatune Tamborim

Tamborims are small, plastic-headed frame drums played with a plastic stick while the other hand changes the pitch of the drum. It has a bright, loud, and cutting sound. With the Floatune tuning system, all mounting hardware is completely isolated from the shell. This innovation eliminates the need to drill through the shell and mount hardware with bolts, which reduces the resonant vibration. A German penny, or "Pfennig", is included as the tuning key.
