The Meinl Add-On Gong Holder is an extension to the Meinl Framed Gong Stand that can allow your stand to hold up to two large gongs or tam-tams at once, vertically oriented. Both parts of the stand on their own can hold up to a 40" diameter gong, but when mounted, you can't hold two 40" gongs at the same time. You can hold up to 38" and up to 40" at the same time.
The Meinl Framed Gong (Tam-Tam) Stand is built and designed to be stable enough to hold both gongs, so you can let both of them swing freely while you play with no concern for their stability (or your safety!).
