Meinl's Mountable Traditional ABS Brass Tambourine is made out of extremely strong ABS plastic, giving you the ability to smack the daylights out of it with a stick without doing any damage!
Mounting to any 3/8" post, this ergonomically-shaped tambourine is fitted with warm, lively brass jingles that project nicely in a live or studio environment. The top edge is specially equipped with ridges designed for you to scrape with a stick or mallet - like a guiro - to add another sound to your musical toolbox.
If you want to play this instrument with your hands like a 'normal' tambourine, the padded hand grip will help you do just that!
