Finger cymbals are another one of those awkward instruments percussionists are asked to play, often without enough time to switch from a different instrument. This Black Swamp Finger Cymbal Mount, working together with the Di Sanza Triangle Trigger (sold separately), solves this problem.

With this clever tool you can make two finger cymbals strike together with the swing of a stick, mallet, or simply your hand. One of your cymbals attaches to the top of a hollow aluminum tube to become the "striker", while the other attaches sideways on the vertical section of the Triangle Trigger.

The striker functions the same way as triangle beaters according to the original Triangle Trigger design: the rear of the striker is placed underneath the wide rubber band while the middle is given a suspended pivot point via the raised holder. When you push down on the rubber band, the back of the striker travels downward causing the front to move upward, bringing the two finger cymbals into contact.

You will need to finely adjust the positioning of both cymbals to make sure they come into direct contact without sliding past each other; luckily, the design of the Triangle Trigger gives you full control of where each component is located! This Finger Cymbal Mount is compatible with virtually any pair of finger cymbals.

Sometimes you'll need to play a single crotale without adequate time or space to pick it up - this mount elegantly solves that issue as well. Turn the finger cymbal holder to a horizontal position and you can dangle a crotale from it. A triangle beater, or any mallet with a thin enough shaft, can be placed in the striking position to create a crotale trigger!
